Complete Guide: D&D Character Stat Generator
Everything you need to know about using this tool effectively
The D&D Stat Generator rolls ability scores for Dungeons and Dragons characters. It supports the 4d6 drop lowest method (roll four six-sided dice, drop the lowest), the standard array (15, 14, 13, 12, 10, 8), and the point buy system. The tool calculates modifiers and total points for each method. All processing happens in the browser.
This tool simulates dice rolls or applies fixed methods to generate six ability scores (Strength, Dexterity, Constitution, Intelligence, Wisdom, Charisma). For 4d6 drop lowest, it rolls 4d6 for each stat and discards the lowest die. Modifiers are calculated as (score - 10) / 2 rounded down.
