Use a larger font size (14pt+) for presentations and a smaller size (10–12pt) for standard reports.
Start from page 2 or 3 if your document has a title page or table of contents that should stay unnumbered.
Preview the result before downloading to confirm numbers don't overlap with existing content.
Numbers are placed with a margin from page edges, but documents with very narrow margins may still overlap.
Can I number only certain pages?
No. The tool numbers every page sequentially. To skip pages, split the PDF first, number the section you need, then merge the files.
Will page numbers overlap with my content?
Numbers are placed with a 40-point margin from page edges. Use the preview to check placement before downloading.
Can I use a format like 'Page 1 of 10'?
No. The tool adds simple sequential numbers (1, 2, 3…). Custom text formats are not supported.
Can I change the font color or style?
Page numbers are rendered in black with a standard font. Custom colors and font styles are not available.
Is my PDF uploaded to a server?
No. All processing happens locally in your browser. Your file never leaves your device.
