Will formulas be preserved in the PDF?
PDFs display the calculated results of formulas, not the formulas themselves. The numbers you see in the Excel cells will appear in the PDF, but the underlying formulas will not be included since PDF is a display format.
How are wide spreadsheets handled?
Spreadsheets that are wider than the target page size are automatically scaled down to fit. For very wide sheets, the text may become small. Consider breaking wide sheets into multiple narrower sheets before converting for better readability.
Is my file uploaded to a server?
No. All processing happens locally in your browser. The file never leaves your device, which is important for spreadsheets containing sensitive financial or business data.
Does it preserve conditional formatting and colors?
Basic cell background colors, font colors, and border styles are preserved. Complex conditional formatting rules may not be fully represented since the tool renders the static values rather than re-evaluating dynamic rules.
