Complete Guide: Interleave PDFs

Everything you need to know about using this tool effectively

What is Interleave PDFs?

The Interleave PDFs tool combines pages from multiple PDF documents by interleaving them in alternating order. Upload two or more PDFs and choose how to merge them - either round-robin (alternating pages) or sequential (all pages of first PDF, then all of next, etc.).

This tool merges multiple PDFs by taking pages from each document in sequence. With 'Round Robin' mode, it takes one page from each PDF in order (A1, B1, A2, B2...). With 'Sequential' mode, it adds all pages from the first PDF, then all from the second, and so on. The output maintains the original quality of all pages. All processing happens in your browser.

Frequently Asked Questions
Can I interleave more than two PDFs?

Yes, you can upload as many PDFs as you need. The tool will interleave through all of them in sequence.

What's the difference between Round Robin and Sequential?

Round Robin takes one page from each PDF in order (A1, B1, C1, A2, B2, C2...). Sequential takes all pages from the first PDF, then all from the second, etc.

What happens if the PDFs have different page counts?

After the shortest document runs out of pages, remaining pages from longer documents are appended to the end.

Does interleaving reduce page quality?

No, interleaving only rearranges pages. All content, resolution, and formatting are preserved from the original documents.

Is my file secure?

Absolutely. All processing happens in your browser using JavaScript. Your files never leave your device.
