The PDF Text Redactor covers sensitive text in a PDF with solid rectangles. You enter the text to redact, choose a black or white box style, and the tool finds every match and places a redaction rectangle over it. The tool runs entirely in the browser. Note that this adds visual overlays, it does not remove the underlying text from the PDF structure.
This tool uses pdf-lib to add filled rectangles on top of text matches in a PDF. It searches the text layer for exact matches of the string you provide and places an opaque rectangle at each match location. You can choose black boxes for maximum coverage or white boxes for a cleaner look. The underlying text data in the PDF is not removed.
